1. Symptoms:

   Using g95-x86_64-32-linux (downloaded 2-Nov-2004), compilation of
   general.f90 with -O1 or higher optimization results in

     general.f90: In function `general_MP_tridag_double__':
     general.f90:80: internal compiler error: in emit_move_insn, at expr.c:2513
     Please submit a full bug report,
     with preprocessed source if appropriate.

   Compiling with -O0 works.

  unix>  make

3. Platform:
   Gentoo, Kernel 2.6.7-gentoo-r11, AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+
   g95 version 3.5.0 20040824 (experimental) Oct 18 2004

4. Other compilers tested (OK means problem could not be reproduced):
   - g95-x86-linux (version 3.5.0 20040824 (experimental) Oct 18 2004)  OK

5. Workaround:
   Use -O0 flag
